GK4 2024 - Aankondiging-Announcement Round 1 Mariembourg

In het weekeinde van 13-14 april 2024 gaan we voor event 1 van de GK4 Kart Series naar de geweldige internationale karttrack Karting des Fagnes Mariembourg in België. 
We zien er naar uit om samen met u een geweldig raceweekeinde te beleven.

Timing / Camera / Safety systeem / Speaker

We hebben CAMP COMPANY ingehuurd voor het verzorgen van de timing en racecontrol (camera's en LED Signaallichten) in de GK4 Kart Series 2024, en natuurlijk onze geweldige speaker Simon voor het betere commentaar. Op naar een Top seizoen!

De inschrijving sluit op woensdagavond 10 april om 20.00 uur.

Documenten

Alle van belang zijnde documenten worden voor u geplaatst als downloads op onze internetsite www.gk4kartseries.com.
Leest u deze informatie aub goed door, zodat u niet voor verrassingen komt te staan.

Secretariaat

Het Secretariaat is niet toegankelijk, behoudens indien u dringende vragen heeft, een protest wilt indienen of door de organisatie wordt uitgenodigd. Het voor vragen en opmerkingen bestemde formulier kunt u afhalen bij het Secretariaat (gebouw timing).
Vragen worden schriftelijk of telefonisch beantwoord. Vermeld a.u.b. uw telefoonnummer op het vragenformulier.

Administratieve controle

We verzoeken u om voor een vlotte doorstroming uw administratie vooraf in orde te brengen.
Vergeet u aub niet om uw transponder, uw licentie, en indien van toepassing uw ouder-kind licentie mee te nemen.

Trainingsdagen

  • Dagelijkse baanprijzen die niet bij het inschrijfgeld zijn inbegrepen.
  • De trainingsdagen worden georganiseerd door Karting des Fagnes Mariembourg.
  • Aanmelden via www.kartingdesfagnes.be.

Tijdschema

Het tijdschema wordt voor u als download geplaatst op de GK4 internetsite. De link: www.gk4kartseries.com/downloads.

Toegang tot "gesloten plaatsen"

Toegelaten personen op gesloten plaatsen, zoals opstelplaats en parc-fermé:
rijders, geregistreerde teameigenaren en per rijder 1 monteur.

Overnachten

  • Er is in een camping voorzien op het terrein. 
  • U dient zich hiervoor vooraf aan te melden bij Karting des Fagnes via email naar info@kartingdesfagnes.be.
  • Bij aankomst aub melden in de cafetaria.
  • Er mag uiteraard niet gebarbecued of een “feestje gebouwd” worden. 
  • Houdt u zich aan de regels. We zijn te gast en moeten ons als zodanig gedragen. 
  • Bewaking is aanwezig. Deze zal ook toezien op naleving van de regels.

Paddock en stroom

  • Er wordt in stroom voorzien door Karting des Fagnes. Kosten zaterdag en zondag zijn bij het inschrijfbedrag inbegrepen.
  • Tenten kunnen worden opgezet vanaf woensdag 10 april..
  • Bij aankomst op het circuit is het noodzakelijk om de paddock verantwoordelijke van de baan te contacteren voordat u uw tenten opbouwt en daarnaast Ben de Feyter (0032479803159). Dit om de goede werking in de paddock niet te verstoren.
  • Iedere kart moet op een dekzeil, met minimum afmeting 3x4 mtr. worden geplaatst, ter bescherming van de ondergrond.
  • Personenwagens en lege bestelwagens moeten buiten het terrein geparkeerd worden. 
  • Houdt u er aub rekening mee, dat er gecontroleerd wordt en voertuigen die er niet mogen staan verplaatst dienen te worden, ook als de tent al is opgebouwd.
  • Voordat u het terrein verlaat, moet de plek van elk team/rijder perfect schoon zijn (geen afval, geen tie-raps, geen banden achterlaten).
  • Op elke vorm van vervuiling staat voor de overtreder een boete van € 500,00.
  • Let u aub op de regel uit het Sportief Reglement betreffende de vereiste brandblusser. Hierop kan worden gecontroleerd!

Let u aub in het bijzonder op deze informatie

  • Het gebruik van gemotoriseerde steps en bromfietsen is niet toegestaan.
  • Het warmdraaien van motoren is strikt verboden. Hierop zal worden gecontroleerd.
  • Zie het tijdschema van zondag voor de warm-up tijden voor de klasse Open Schakel.
  • Voor nieuwe rijders: op de site staat als download het Inschrijfformulier 2024; neemt u het aub ingevuld en ondertekend mee naar de administratieve controle, dat scheelt ons samen veel tijd.
  • Het gedragsprotocol is van toepassing. Respecteer elkaar, de deelnemers en de organisatie.

Technische Controles

De tijden van de technische controle staan vermeld op het tijdschema.

Huurmotoren en transponders

  • Huurmotoren: voor geïnteresseerde rijders is er de mogelijkheid om motoren tegen een strak tarief te huren. Dit geldt voor alle klassen.
  • Extra voor de klasse Honda Cadet bieden we splinternieuwe UT2 motoren te huur aan voor het strakke tarief € 50,00 voor het hele weekeinde.
  • Info te verkrijgen via de organisatie info@gk4kartseries.com.
  • Transponders zijn te huur via de organisatie. Aan te vragen bij de reservering.  

Banden

  • Er mag niet met eigen banden worden gereden.  
  • Banden, zowel slick als regen, worden uitsluitend op bestelling geleverd via GK4Tyres, email gk4tyres@outlook.be.
  • Afhalen banden: truck DFK.
  • Vergeet u aub niet om evt. uw banden tijdig te bestellen bij uw erkende dealer. De lijst met dealers staat voor u klaar als download op onze internetsite.
  • Zowel de slicks als regenbanden moeten worden aangemeld bij de scanning.
  • Uitsluitend nieuwe banden mogen worden aangemeld, zowel slicks als regen.

Verplicht Tankstation

  • Total, Route Charlemagne 33, 5660 Couvin
  • Zie ook de flyer hieronder en de download op de site www.gk4kartseries.com.
  • Bewaart u aub uw tankbon. Deze moet u op verzoek organisatie tonen.

Warmdraaien motoren

  • Motoren mogen NIET worden warmgedraaid. 
  • Het is toegestaan om de motor te starten, maar deze moet dan ook meteen weer worden uitgezet. 
  • Let u op, dit is strafbaar gesteld in het Sportief Reglement.
  • Uitzondering voor de klasse Open Schakel, op de tijden vermeld in het tijdschema.

Briefing / Startprocedures

  • De digitale briefing wordt in het Nederlands en Engels als download geplaatst op onze internetsite. 
  • Er zal een briefing in persoon plaatsvinden in het Hoofdgebouw (naast de paddock). Zie voor tijdstippen het tijdschema.
  • Tevens worden documenten geplaats betreffende de startprocedures. Neemt u aub goed notie van deze documenten.

In the weekend of April 13-14 2024 the first race of the GK4 Kart Series takes us to the great international track Karting des Fagnes Mariembourg in Belgium.
We look forward to meet you again and to see our Warriors in action.
 
Timing / Camera & Safety systeem / Speaker
We have hired CAMP COMPANY to take care of the timing and race control (cameras and LED Signal Lights) in the GK4 Kart Series 2024, and of course our magnificent speaker Simon for the best commentary. On to a great season!

Reservations 

Documents 

  • All documents are available for you as downloads on our site www.gk4kartseries.com. 
  • Please read the information carefully so that you are not faced with any surprises.

Reservation

  • You can make your reservation on our website via the link: www.gk4kartseries.com/inschrijven. 
  • Registration closes on Wednesday April 10. at 8pm.
  • Please note: many new reservations are being made in the various classes, which means that a number of classes will be full. Please don't forget to book on time, because full = full.

Secretariat

  • The Secretariat is not accessible, unless you have urgent questions, want to submit a protest or are invited by the organization. 
  • The form intended for questions and comments can be collected from the Secretariat (building timing). 
  • Questions will be answered in writing or by telephone. 
  • Please include your telephone number on the enquiry form.

Administrative control

  • We ask you to take care of your administration in advance to ensure a smooth flow. 
  • Please don't forget to bring your transponder, your license, and if applicable, your parent-child license.

Access to socalled "closed areas" 

  • Access to socalled "closed areas", such as parc-fermé: only to drivers, registered team owners and 1 mechanic per driver.

Campingsite 

  • A camping site is provided on site. 
  • You must register in advance with Karting des Fagnes by email to info@kartingdesfagnes.be. 
  • Please report to the cafeteria on arrival.
  • It is of course not allowed to barbecue or to have a "party". 
  • Please follow the rules. We are guests and must behave as such.
  • Security will be present. This will also monitor compliance with the rules.

Paddock, electicity, details

  • Electricity will be supplied by Karting des Fagnes. The fee for Saturday and Sunday is included in the registration fee.
  • Tents can be set up from Wednesday April 10.
  • On arrival at the circuit it is necessary to contact the paddock manager of the track before setting up your tents and in addition Ben de Feyter (0032479803159). 
    This is to not disrupt the proper functioning in the paddock.
  • Every kart must be placed on a tarpaulin, with a minimum size of 3x4 mtr. installed to protect the substrate.
  • Cars and empty vans must be parked outside the site. Please keep in mind that there will be a check and that vehicles that are not allowed to be parked there must be removed.Before leaving the site, each team- / driver’s area must be perfectly clean (no trash, no tie-raps, no tyres left). 
  • Offenders will be fined € 500.00 for any form of pollution.
  • Please take note of the rule from the Sporting Regulations regarding the required fire extinguisher. This can be checked!
  • Motorized scooters and mopeds are NOT allowed on the entire site! Please adhere to this.

Technical control

  • For details please refer to the timeschedule.

Tyres

  • Tyres, both slick and wet, will only be delivered to order via GK4Tyres, gk4tyres@outlook.be. 
  • It is not allowed to drive with other tyres.
  • Please do not forget to order your tyres in time from your authorized dealer. The list of dealers is available as download on our websites.
  • Both slicks and rain tyres must be provided for scanning.
  • Only new tyres may be used, slicks as well rain tyres.
  • Tyre collection: DFK truck.

Mandatory fuelstation

  • Please keep your fuel receipt. You must show this to the organization on request.

Warm-up engines

  • It is strictly forbidden to warm up engines. It is allowed to start the engine, but the engine must also be switched off immediately. 
  • Please note, this is made punishable in the Sporting Regulations.
  • Exception for the Open Shifter class, at the times stated in the timeschedule.

Briefing

  • The digital briefing will be available for download in Dutch and English on our website.  
  • There will be an in-person briefing in the Main Building (next to the paddock). See the timetable for times.  
  • Documents relating to the start-up procedures are also posted. Please take note of these documents.

Prizegiving

  • For the time slots of the award ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday, see the timetable.
